When is the hotel open?

We typically operate during the main summer season, from April through October. Please check our booking engine for specific availability dates.

Do all suites have a view?

Yes. Every single suite at Abyss boasts a direct, guaranteed view of the Caldera and the volcano. The architecture is designed specifically to maximize these vistas from your private terrace.

Does my suite have a private hot tub?

Absolutely. Our suites feature private hot tub.

Which suite is best for a honeymoon?

While all our suites are romantic, the Honeymoon Suite and the Grand Villa are the most popular choices for couples celebrating special occasions, offering enhanced privacy and spacious outdoor terraces.

Is there privacy on the terraces?

Oia is a vertical village built into the cliffside, so some visibility from higher levels is common across the island. However, our architecture is designed to offer as much seclusion as possible.

Is breakfast included?

Yes, a signature à la carte breakfast is included in your stay.

Where is breakfast served?

We believe in ultimate relaxation, so breakfast is served daily in the privacy of your suite or on your private terrace. You can select your preferred time and menu options the evening before.

Do you have a restaurant for lunch or dinner?

Abyss focuses on privacy and does not operate a full-service public restaurant for lunch/dinner. However, our central location in Oia means you are steps away from some of Santorini's finest dining options. Our concierge can make reservations for you at top nearby restaurants like Oia Gefsis, Karma, or Candouni.

Is there a main swimming pool?

In addition to your private hot tub/pool, guests have access to our unique indoor swimming pool, which features a reverse swimming current for exercise and relaxation.

Do you offer airport transfers?

Yes, we can arrange private transfers from Santorini Airport (JTR) or the Athinios Ferry Port for an additional fee. Please contact us at least 48 hours before arrival with your travel details to book this service.

Due to the traditional cliffside architecture of Oia (which involves many steep stairs and cobblestone paths), our property is not suitable for guests with limited mobility or wheelchair users.

Do you have parking?

Oia is largely a pedestrian-only village. There are public parking areas nearby (approx. 5-10 minutes walk), but spaces can be limited in high season. We recommend using our transfer service to avoid parking difficulties.
